I think I came across a realisation.
I think I've always tried to write for other people, instead of writing for myself.
I think advertising made me write from the public's point of view.
'Understand how they think, Fo'
'Why do they do what they do?'
'You must go into their minds, put yourself in their shoes.'
'You have to think harder Fo. Keep asking yourself.'
Well, that's what my lecturer has been telling me.
Advertising is evil.
It drives people to buy things that they don't need.
With the money that they don't have.
I think I wanna stop thinking about how other people think.
I think I'm tired of that.
I think too much.
I'm gonna start writing for myself.
I think something unexpected just happened.
I think I'm scared, and curious at the same time.
But I feel good about it.
Is that a good combination?
I guess we'll know soon enough.
